Docker MCP Toolkit "App store" is now in Beta!
With just a few clicks, you can install multiple MCP servers for Claude, Cursor and more.
Here's a tutorial to get you started:
Step 1: Installation
Go to docker.com and install it.
Step 2: Enable MCP Toolkit
Go to Beta Features and enable the MCP Toolkit.
Step 3: Search for Server
Click on MCP Toolkit and search for any Server.
Notion, Jira, Filesystem
Step 4: Enable Clients
Click on Clients. And then you can enable Cursor, Claude or even connect your custom MCP Clients.
Now your Tools are available in your code editor like Cursor or Claude.
Details
MCP tools are run in their own container.
Limited to 1 CPU and 2 GB RAM.
By default, MCP Servers have no access to the host filesystem.
What problem does Docker's MCP Toolkit solve?
Search MCPs that are safe and verified (trusted gh repos)
One-click install with a UI that shows exactly which fields you need to fill in (API keys, etc.)
No need to configure each MCP in every tool (enable cursor, claude)
No host filesystem access
Works kind of everywhere
Disadvantage of using Docker's MCP Toolkit
One MCP server for all tools. So you need to manually disable single tools to avoid overload.
And you need Docker.
