Cursors Bugbot is here! It catches bugs before they go live!

In this post I'll go over what it is and how to use it:

What is bugbot?

It automatically reviews your pull requests on GitHub and flags bugs instantly.

How to Setup

cursor .com/dashboard → Integrations

"Connect to GitHub" → authorize

Pick repos & toggle BugBot ON

Bugbot - PR Preferences

(Scroll down to find this at the bottom!)

Only Run when Mentioned → triggers only with “BugBot run” in a comment

Only Run Once → runs once per PR, ignores new commits

Hide "No Bugs Found" Comments → stays silent when nothing’s wrong

See BugBot in Action

  • Prepare code for getting pushed to github

  • Add a pull request

  • View and Review Pull Request

If Bugbot finds an issue, click the "Fix in Cursor" button to be redirected directly to Cursor.
